Overview

The Tokina Canon EF-mount atx-i 11-16mm f/2.8 CF lens is an ultra-wide zoom lens for use with Canon cameras. It is well-suited for architecture, landscape, as well as during interior shooting. It's main characteristic is the bright f/2.8 constant maximum aperture that provides consistency in brightness throughout the lens' zoom range. This affords the user comfortability in working in various lighting conditions. The lens' optical design is made up of a series of aspherical and low dispersion elements, which suppress a variety of aberrations for improved sharpness and clarity.

Ghosting and flares are resisted as a result of the individual elements being multi-coated. This provides greater contrast and color accuracy when working in backlit and bright conditions. Complementing the optics, this lens features a One-Touch Focus Clutch Mechanism for fast changing between AF and MF settings, and an internal focusing design is used for responsive focusing performance.
